​Every structured lesson I teach is built on original materials that I research, write, and design myself. You won't find generic photocopied textbook pages here. My resources are created for your level, your interests, and your goals.

Every lesson at Lumina English is one-on-one, personalized, and built around your goals, not a generic syllabus.

​ Conversational English lessons

In a conversational lesson, we talk. That's it. Real conversation is the fastest path to confidence and fluency, and most learners don't get nearly enough of it. A conversational lesson includes the following:

  • Natural discussions, guided by the teacher when necessary

  • Explanations of new vocabulary/grammar as it comes up

  • Gentle corrections without interrupting your flow​​

Structured English lessons 

Structured lessons are fully planned and include custom materials. They're all designed specifically for your level and goals. Every structured lesson has a clear aim, and every long-term goal has a plan. A structured lesson includes the following:

  • ​Includes materials like grammar guides, worksheets, articles, activities and more.

  • All lessons materials are custom designed for the student's individual needs and goals

  • As much conversation as possible is weaved into the lesson

  • Feedback and homework are available to students who want it​
